Campsite

WE RESPECT THE LAND, ITS FOOD AND OUR GUESTS

Podere Il Casale has a small farm campsite open all year – the ideal place for those who dream of a relaxing holiday on the rolling hills of Val d’Orcia.
The site has 8 pitches in total: 4 pitches for motorhomes, caravans and vans (on gravel, partially shaded) and 4 pitches for tents (on grass, under a roof structure).
The motorhome and caravan area has electric hook ups.
All guests have free access to the on-site toilets and showers.
There is free Wi-Fi near the main house.
Reservations are required during from April to October.
Staying at the farm means coming into close contact with nature and the singular farm environment. The campsite is located close to the dairy farm where Pecorino di Pienza is produced daily, which means that our guests can get to know our farm animals: sheep, goats, peacocks, donkeys, chickens, cats and dogs. All animals are used to having people around and enjoy the company of tourists.

The best time to enjoy the serene atmosphere of the campsite is definitely at sunset, when the farm becomes quiet and the sun slowly hides behind the rolling Tuscan hills.
The farm campsite has a restaurant with a panoramic terrace. All the recipes on the menu use exclusively local seasonal products, coming either from Il Casale or from neighbouring farms. The restaurant is open every day for lunch and dinner from April to October. Opening times may change in low season.
Breakfast is available upon request at a cost of €10.00 per person.
Have a look at the breakfast menu below.
Campsite guests are welcomed in our biodynamic vegetable garden, where all the vegetables on our menu come from. Our farm products are on sale in the farmhouse shop. Picnic baskets are available upon request. Guests can participate in the guided tour of the stables and the dairy farm as well as take part in a cooking class of their choice.
