At Podere Il Casale – Pienza, during a cheesemakers lunch in our restaurant cheesemaker Ulisse will tell you more about the secrets of the cheeses used throughout the menu.

Afterwards he will guide you through the processing stages of Pecorino cheese: from milking, to a live demonstration of the production of a first salt pecorino cheese.

A truly unique experience for all cheese lovers, gourmets and nature lovers. Our event is also suitable for children who will be happy to see our animals and the magic of cheese production.
