Our Farm will be open to everione and you can freely visit every corner of our kingdom to see how Pecorino di Pienza cheese is made: Let’s Make Cheese!

 

At Podere Il Casale – Pienza, our experts will guide you through the processing stages of Pecorino cheese: from milking, to a live demonstration of the production of a cheese with the cheese maker Ulysses, you can visit our dairy and the seasoning cells and finally we taste our organic raw milk cheeses.

A truly unique experience for all cheese lovers, gourmets and nature lovers. Our event is also suitable for children who will be happy to see our animals and the magic of cheese production.

Our events allow you to discover how the excellence of the Val d’Orcia area is born, respecting tradition and seasonality. Spring is the season of cheese and here is that our farm opens its doors to all visitors who can closely see the various stages: from milking, to the production of cheese, from the dairy to the aging cells.
