Olive Oil Bruschetta
The Most Delicious and Simple Recipe in the World!
“Bread drizzled with olive oil” — it could also be the best, or at least the most common, in Tuscany.
Of course, its flavor depends entirely on the olive oil you use.
During the olive harvesting season in Tuscany, the fresh, green “olio nuovo” is literally poured on everything: toasted bread, raw and cooked vegetables, and soft cheeses.
It is the pride of the people and takes center stage on the table!
Ingredients:
- 8 slices of bread – Tuscans use unsalted white bread, but any type will work!
- A generous amount of the best extra virgin olive oil you can find
- Salt
- Fresh garlic clove
Instructions:
Preparation: 5 minutes
- Grill the slices of bread using a toaster, your oven, or an open fire.
- Arrange the grilled slices on plates and drizzle them with a generous amount of olive oil. If you like garlic, you can rub the slices with a fresh garlic clove before pouring the oil. Sprinkle with salt.
- Serve and enjoy without counting calories. Extra virgin olive oil is good for you!
Enjoy your meal!
