Organic chestnut honey
Our organic chestnut honey is produced between late June and the first half of august from wild chestnut blossoms. The honey is liquid, but tends to thicken and crystalize a little after a few months. The nose is very aromatic and pungent, with almost vegetal touches or “foresty” hints. In the mouth it is very intense with a slight “bitter” touch that characterizes it. Excellent pairing with aged (pecorino) cheeses, ricotta or in cakes and breads.
