Tuscan Sulla Honey – Light, Floral, and Naturally Delicate

Our Sulla honey is harvested in late May, just after our Millefiori honey. Sulla is a drought-resistant plant with bright red flowers that thrives in clay and limestone soils. It is native to Val d’Orcia and other parts of Tuscany.

This raw Italian honey has a light color and a delicate, vegetal flavor. Its aroma recalls flowering meadows, chamomile blossoms, and occasionally reveals warm, toasted notes of caramel and almond.

Origin of honey: Italy

Artisanal processing, not pasteurized.

A honey called special a “special” honey very appreciated in the kitchen, for biscuits and cakes. Excellent pairing with aged and semi-aged cheeses.

It is recommended to store in a cool and dry environment, preferably in the dark at a temperature of not less than 20°C.
