Reusing Bottles for a New Life!
The philosophy of Podere Il Casale is rooted in respect for the land and the adoption of organic farming practices. To strengthen our commitment to sustainability, we have decided to optimize the reuse of wine bottles, transforming them into unique tableware and design accessories.
We partnered with a start-up of young innovators who, like us, believe in reusing glass rather than simply recycling it.
This choice helps reduce waste production, energy consumption, and CO₂ emissions associated with the processes of sorting, grinding, and melting glass.
The process is simple: the bottle, once stripped of its label, is sent to the start-up. Using specialized machinery, the bottle is cut into various pieces, depending on the object to be created—cutlery holders, glasses, finger food spoons, jugs, vases, plates, storage containers, and much more, all crafted with creativity. Once polished or frosted, the items return to us, ready to be used, giving new life to a material that would otherwise be discarded.
Sustainability thus becomes a part of everyday life, transforming bottles into unique accessories for the table and home.
