Truffle hunt with cooking class

TRUFFLE HUNTING IN THE WOODS

During this activity you learn all the important things concerning this precious product. The experience begins with the welcome of Sandra and the first part of the Cooking session. While the fresh pasta dough rests, you will get an introduction into the world of truffles in our farm restaurant. Afterwards you will move on in the woods with our truffle expert and his dog looking for truffles. Return to the Casale followed by the second part of the cooking session and then the tasting of the fruit of your work , or better a delicious 4 course lunch. Note: Transfer to the truffle grounds needs to be organized by guests or travel agency. We recommend hard shoes and suitable clothes.

COOKING CLASS WITH TRUFFLE

Together with Sandra, owner of the farmhouse you dive into the world of Italian cuisine. During the lesson you learn how to prepare a menu based on truffle (first course, second course and dessert). Sandra will tell you episodes related to her life on the farm, notions on organic farming and the experience made over the past twenty years at Podere Il Casale. The ingredients used during the cooking class will naturally be produced by us and at the end you will taste the fruit of your work together with the cheeses produced in our dairy.
